On fish fingers.

Today I was thinking about how fish fingers ought to come in flavors like “ketchup” or “mustard” or even “custard” — that way we don’t have to focus on the fact that we don’t actually know what kind and what parts of fish we’re eating, but instead focus on the fact that they are, in fact, ketchup flavored.  I think there’s a certain kind of stability in that simple assurance.
