Arts & Crafts Night

First time seeing many of my good friends from UofI again tonight.  Let me tell you, Urbana is the place to be living; we had an arts & crafts night.  We made masks.  Things got very paint-y.

What makes poetry so wonderful is the fact that it involves all of life, every concern, every desire, and every feeling. If something has some great significance to a person’s existence, then it has a great significance in poetry as well.

    • Garrett Traylor says:

Well certainly poetry stems from experience. A blog devoted to my poetry, my writing, is directly relevant to my experiences ‘behind the scenes’ as it were. It’s an ever-changing document of influence and experience. And, just so I can run 4/4 on sentences with the word in it: experience.

looks fun, g-rot. Why wasn’t urbana like that when I was there?

    • katherinetotten says:

oh and….are you using a holga app on your iphone?

      • Garrett Traylor says:

No, it’s a Polaroid app. I do have another app that does holga effects, though. Also — we can make Urbana continue to be this way upon your return, because honestly, it hasn’t been keeping up like that as much as I’d’ve hoped. We must make it so!
